 The Lower Milford Historical Society was formed in 2005 to preserve the history of Lower Milford Township. This site presents much of the history that has been preserved and descriptions of ongoing projects. It has a number of features:
1. It has a calendar of events for the Lower Milford Historical Society and other events of potential interest to its members. 2. It has an ever growing member's section to view special material, historical artifacts, a photo gallery, newletters, and and area for projects. When one becomes a member one can register to gain access to the site. 3. It is developing areas for members and the public to comment on historical events and to provide comments. The work is in progress and will be up and running in May, once it is better protected against hackers and spam. 4. Historic Houses Photo Project |

 The Lower Milford Historical Society is organizing a project to photograph houses, farms, and other articles of historic interest. The Lower Milford Historical Society has cataloged over 90% of the homes in the Township. This includes the current owner, the year the building was built and whether there is a barn on the property.. The next phase is to get pictures of houses built before 1945 as they now exist. We would like to get as many of these pictures as possible. Eventually, these photographs will be used to select a smaller group of houses that still have historical significance (have not be significantly altered) for further research. At present, the data has been obtained mainly from the Lehigh County assessment rolls. Some of the historical data in this database is not correct. We would like to update this with corrections where possible.
