The Lower Milford Historical Society has undertaken a project to photograph houses, farms, and other articles of historic interest. The Lower Milford Historical Society has cataloged over 90% of the homes in the Township. This includes the current owner, the year the building was built and whether there is a barn on the property.. The next phase is to get pictures of houses built before 1945 as they now exist. We would like to get as many of these pictures as possible. Eventually, these photographs will be used to select a smaller group of houses that still have historical significance (have not be significantly altered) for further research. At present, the data has been obtained mainly from the Lehigh County assessment rolls. Some of the historical data in this database is not correct. We would like to update this with corrections where possible.
